Three rock-pools you HAVE to see in Broome

1. Coconut Well

This is Coconut Well, just north of Broome. The best time to visit is just when the tide is coming in and they are filling up, once the tide is fully in, they just about disappeared!! It was very cool to watch! Although here’s a warning which we didn’t learn from the 100’s of instagram posts we had seen from this spot… beware of tiny little clear pricks from the rock pools which will end up in your hands and feet Ouch!⁠

2. Gantheaume Point

This spot is approximately 6km from Broome. You will need to visit on the right tide as when the tide is out, there is no water in the pool! When we visited the tide was only just coming in, so we didn’t get to swim in them, but even when the tide is out, this place is so beautiful!

3. Cable Beach

Believe it or not when the tide is out, there are some beautiful rock-pools at Cable Beach! You can walk right down to the rocks where there are all these amazing little rock-pools! But beware of the crocs!
